Become a member of the Lake Harriet Environment Council if you want to:

• Support work to restore and maintain natural areas around the lake

• Participate in member meetings

• Learn from Minneapolis Park and Rec leaders about how and why they do what they do

• Advocate for more responsible maintenance and care of parks, water, trees and
  infrastructure

• Join committees that are leading work to educate our neighbors, advocate and
  coordinate volunteers

• Invest in the future of Lake Harriet and the surrounding park land
