Buckthorn Bust Tomorrow

REMINDER: Annual Lynnhurst Environment Committee Buckthorn Bust is this Saturday, Nov. 7, 9:30-11:30

We are moving east along the Creek this fall, into the Tangletown Neighborhood. Throughout the year, volunteers have continued to work on eliminating buckthorn within Lynnhurst and have made tremendous progress. Because our Lyndale Ave border won't prevent buckthorn from spreading west into Lynnhurst, we have chosen to tackle some of the abundant buckthorn to the east.

Meet by 9:30 across from 210 W Minnehaha Parkway, north side of Creek, to check-in and get instructions. Bring work gloves, a refillable water bottle, loppers, pruners (be sure your tools have your name on them), and leftover Halloween candy. The LEC will have eight weed wrenches, some root-slayer shovels, and a five-gallon water dispenser.

Questions, respond to this email.

Hope to see you Saturday morning!
