On Saturday, April 19, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Friends of Roberts Bird Sanctuary and the Lake Harriet Environment Council are co-hosting an Earth Day 2025 event at Lake Harriet, to pick up trash around the shoreline and parkway. Interested volunteers can also help cut and haul Buckthorn along the Lake Harriet parkway near the Sanctuary.

Look for signs and people at the North Beach.

Tools and supplies will be provided.

Come for as long as you like!
